17-20 Sep 2019 Nancy (France)

Mathematics session

This workshop aims at strengthening the relations between the mathematics departments of the two universities: Institut Elie Cartan of Lorraine on the one hand and the Research Center for Pure and Applied Mathematics and the Mathematical Institute on the other hand. It will take place at "Campus Artem" Nancy from September 18th to September 20th.

in the session of Mathematics, we plan to focus on the following three directions which are central in the teams of "partial differential equations and application" of both sides:
- reaction-diffusion systems and application to biological models
- geometrical properties of solutions of elliptic or parabolic
equations, shape optimization
- nonlinear wave and dispersive equations.

Organizers:
Reika Fukuizumi (Univ. Tohoku)
Thomas Giletti (Univ. Lorraine)
Antoine Henrot (Univ. Lorraine)
Shigeru Sakaguchi (Univ. Tohoku)
